2017 Silvaner Brut, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clearly yeasty and somewhat nutty aroma with pome fruit notes and earthy-vegetable tones. Nutty in the mouth too, tart fruit with a fine, rather moderate mousse, again earthy-vegetable notes on the palate, good substance and persistence, some grip, certain depth, mineral notes, a hint of tobacco, very good, quite firm, tart-juicy and finely spicy finish.
