2015 Silvaner Brut, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty and yeasty, also slightly vegetal aroma with yellow fruity aromas, sunflower seeds, a little cauliflower with selmmel crumbs and brown butter and floral nuances. Ripe, soft, strikingly sweet fruit, moderate, fine mousseux, candy tones and clarified butter on the palate, dried apple, good substance and persistence, implied yellow spice, nutty traces, good to very good, only again rather unnecessarily sweet finish with clarified butter notes.
