2014 Homburg Kallmuth Riesling trocken *** Grosses Gewächs, Coronilla, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat developed, vegetal and slightly nutty aroma with stone fruit notes, a hint of herbs, some minerality and floral nuances. Cool, rather slender, fairly tart fruit, clearly vegetal flavours, a little wax and root vegetables, fine, lively acidity, light grip, light minerality, good persistence, a little white currant in the background, very good, tart, cool, clearly vegetal finish with bite. No longer in top form, but still with a certain tension.
