2018 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Somewhat smoky, woody and spicy scent of ripe red and a little black berries with earthy notes reminiscent of red peppers. Clear, ripe, quite juicy fruit, smoky, toasty and spicy wood aromas, fine sandy, ripe tannin, herbal nuances, cooling mineral tones, a hint of citrus zest, very good, quite juicy finish with ethereal notes
