2016 Winkel Riesling trocken VDP.Ortswein, Goethewein, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly sweetish nose, prominent vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit, yeasty traces, earthy and mineral notes. Still slightly muted on the palate, delicately sweetish fruit, fresh vegetal and herbaceous notes, light yeasty and earthy notes, slightly rough tannins, dried herbs and a hint of caraway in the background, floral traces, good persistence, slightly bitter phenolic notes, but becomes much clearer and more juicy with aeration, elegant vegetal notes on a very good cool, elegant, juicy finish.
