2015 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Light nutty and dried vegetal notes on the nose, red and a few black berries, some cherries and juniper, mineral traces. Ripe, fairly juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, nutty aromas, hint of cocoa, fine sandy tannins, quite well integrated, good persistence, full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, slightly sweetish and creamy, some bite on a good, warm, chocolatey finish.
