2015 Kremstal DAC Ried Wachtberg Riesling Reserve trocken ÖTW Erste Lage, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm nose, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, delicate hint of tobacco, ripe citrus fruit, some pomaceous and stone fruit, yeasty traces, hint of caramel, ginger, fairly prominent mineral notes. Full-bodied on the palate, sweetish and juicy, noticeable vegetal notes, touch of broccoli, firm, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, fairly firm structure, prominent mineral notes, and lots of black pepper, good depth, complex, still largely undeveloped, very creamy, but also has backbone and bite, still slightly muted by astringent tannins, hint of tobacco, tart mineral notes on a fairly juicy and slightly juicy, very good finish. Needs time to mature.
