2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Höchleit'n Riesling trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very slightly developed nose with light peach and citrus aromas and tart, very slightly resinous planty tones and a certain minerality. Somewhat muted, again bright, sweetish fruit, noticeable, sandy tannin, yeasty, vegetal and nutty notes, initially a little rough on the palate, but then juicier with air, certain persistence and substance, salt and chalk in the background, buttery tones, some warmth, good to very good, slightly bittersweet finish.
