2017 Süd-Steiermark Sausal Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, tart, fairly fresh nose, still slightly yeasty, bell peppers and parsley, delicate nutty and earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, citrus fruit in the background, touch of gooseberries, stone fruit, slightly exotic traces. Cool, tart fruit on the palate, fresh vegetal note with prominent parsley, some bell peppers, gooseberries again and some limes, lively, elegant acidity, yeasty traces, light tannic grip, light mineral notes, slightly creamy, nutty aromas, good persistence, hint of bacon, very good finish. Needs time to mature.
