2003 Süd-Steiermark Ried Höchleit'n Morillon trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Vegetal nose with some sauerkraut notes, caramelised yellow apples and nuts. Fairly soft on the palate with very moderate, integrated acidity, warm alcohol, rounded, very slightly sweet yellow fruit, hot vintage clearly evident, with aeration develops delicate herbaceous notes and stabilises both on the nose and the palate, has some substance but also rather prominent tannins, slightly blunt on an otherwise attractive finish.
