2021 trocken Cuvée Rot "Köchl Verzeichnis 507", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

A hint of ethereal scent of mainly dark berries and cherries with a hint of tomato paste, hints of meaty-animalic tones, floral traces and delicate barrel tones. Ripe, juicy, quite polished, slightly warm fruit, crumbly-sandy tannin and some bite, a hint of citrus zest in the background, again also a little ethereal spice, has power and melting, good persistence, a hint of chocolate in the background, peppery tones, good to very good, juicy and spicy finish.
