2020 Blaufränkisch-Zweigelt trocken "Quercus", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Relatively cool scent of more black than red berries with cherry aromas, planty to herbal nuances, a hint of pepper, animal traces and very delicate barrel tones. Tart fruit with nutty, dried planty and again a hint of woody notes, a little smoke in the background, some sandy, still slightly drying tannin, some persistence, medium power and very slight warmth, good to very good finish.
