2019 Blaufränkisch-Merlot trocken "Quercus", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, straightforward red and black berry scent with a little dried-vegetable and floral nuances. Tart, rather lean fruit, smoky-roasty aromas, a hint of pepper, dry herbs and salty nuances, fine sandy tannin, some bite, some persistence, a hint of iodine, good to very good, a little bitterish-cocoa-spicy finish.
