2009 Leithaberg Blaufränkisch trocken Föllig, Burgenland, Austria

Delicately oxidative nose, preserved dark berries and some cherries, vegetal notes and some soup stock, touch of tobacco, dark toasted notes. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, ripe, fairly cool fruit, vegetal and earthy notes, some pepper and soup greens, fine tannins, concentrated and powerful, bitter tobacco notes, some salty mineral notes, good persistence and has some depth, tart on a very good finish.
