The winery is located in the municipality of Straß im Straßertale in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. It has been managed by Birgit Eichinger since 1992. A newly built business building with cellar was put into operation in 1994. The vineyards comprise 16 hectares of vineyards in the areas Gaisberg, Hasel, Heiligenstein, Lamm, Stangl and Wechselberg. They are 100% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (60%), Riesling, Chardonnay and Roter Veltliner. The wines are fermented chilled in stainless steel tanks, whereby special attention is paid to the purity of the must before fermentation. Depending on the vintage, Grüner Veltliner is also aged in large wooden barrels. Premium wines are Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner or Kamptal DAC Reserve under different vineyard names. About 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually; about 50% is exported. A special feature is the "wine library", which Birgit Eichinger also calls the "memory of the winery". There you can taste the matured wines from magnum bottles on the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May. The winery is a member of the two winegrowers' associations 11 Frauen & ihre Weine and since the 2013 vintage, Traditionsweingüter Österreich.
