2019 Carnuntum DAC Ried Spitzerberg Erste ÖTW Ried trocken "Obere Spitzer", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, dense and firm aroma of predominantly dark berries and cherries with fresh fleshy hints, hibiscus as well as floral, mushroom and herbal traces. Juicy fruit with smoky wood aromas and fresh meat again, youthful, fine sandy tannin, some tobacco and tobacco ash, peppery and juniper spice, dried herbs and tomato paste in the background, some power, deep and persistent on the palate, still little developed, multilayered, a bit bacony, clearly mineral, very good to long, tart, tight finish.
