Dried herbs and earthy notes on the nose, hint of chocolate, partly preserved black and red berries, prominent bay leaf, some bell peppers and pepper. Ripe, tart, juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, toasted, nutty oak and some dark chocolate, hint of tobacco, herbaceous and minty notes, good substance and persistence, noticeable high alcohol, but also has cool elements, reminiscent of ice sweets, gingerbread spice in the background, salty mineral traces, some depth, slightly sweetish milk chocolate and candied apples, very good finish.
