2015 Blaufränkisch trocken Abendrot, Burgenland, Austria

Tart nose, nutty and earthy notes, hint of tobacco, black and a few red berries, floral traces, hint of pomegranate. Clear, straightforward, fairly cool fruit on the palate, elegant, juicy and quite polished, light nutty notes, hint of tobacco, fairly persistent, fine youthful tannins, light acid bite, some more pomegranate in the backgorund, not particularly deep, but charming, light oaky traces, hint of chocolate, good to very good finish.
