2004 trocken Attaché, Burgenland, Austria

Translate to English Etwas verschwommene Nase mit viel schokoladigem und nussigem Holz und etwas Gummi, kompottig-schwarzbeerigen Noten sowie erdigen und getrocknet-vegetabilen Tönen. Dunkle Frucht im Mund, erdige, holzige und bitterlich-nussige Aromen, leicht trocknendes Tannin, spürberer Alkohol am Gaumen, leicht getrocknet-vegetabile Aromen, ein wenig Tabak, wirkt erst ziemlich verschwommen, gewinnt aber noch einmal mit Luft, dennoch schon ein wenig über seiner besten Zeit, guter, wenn auch alkoholstarker und nachtrocknender Abgang.

Editor note: Preserved black berries, some cherries and plums on the nose, herbaceous notes and a hint of malt, prominent mineral notes, smoiky and roasted oak. Full-bodied with herbs and spices, smoky and roasted notes, also has loads of ripe fruit, some more delicate malted notes, medium-fine, slightly sandy tannins, light acid bite, prominent mineral notes, cool style, very good depth and persistence, firm structure, long finish.
