2021 Südsteiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool and polished, fine vegetal and herbal nose with restrained white and yellow fruity notes, tones reminiscent of seafood, green asparagus and white pepper. Taut, tart, predominantly light fruit, slightly yeasty tones, fresh planty to herbal notes and pepper again, again also green asparagus, persistent on the palate, grippy, lively acidity, smoky nuances, a little black berries, nutty hints, good to very good finish with pull and grip.
