2019 Spätburgunder Reserve trocken "Grand Duc", Ahr, Germany

Firm and deep, quite polished aroma of ripe red and black berries with cherry aromas, herbs and a hint of juniper. Ripe, quite concentrated, juicy, warm fruit, Mediterranean spice, some smoke and nutty hints, a touch of coffee on the palate, some acid bite and present, very fine, ripe tannin, persistent and dense on the palate, good depth, lots of power, salty-mineral tones, very good, complex, juicy, spicy and mineral finish.
