2017 Spätburgunder "Caspar C.", Ahr, Germany

Fairly fresh nose, floral and delicate spicy notes, predominantly red berries, herbaceous traces, moderate nutty oak. Ripe, fairly juicy, slightly warm and creamy fruit on the palate, light nutty oak, touch of vanilla, moderate, elegant acidity, integrated tannins, has some substance and persistence, becomes fresher and deeper with aeration, salty mineral notes, very good, slightly spicy finish.
