Light animal notes and some smoked bacon on the nose, red and black berries and some cherries, peppery and light earthy notes. Ripe, fairly juicy but also rather tart fruit on the palate, more smoked bacon, light herbaceous, earthy and salty notes, noticeable oak, fairly persistent, hint of tobacco in the background, light acid bite, youthful, fairly fine tannins, good to very good finish.
