2015 Neuenahr Kirchtürmchen Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs, Ahr, Germany

Developed red and black fruit with nutty, hints of tobacco and floral notes, a hint of tar and dried floral nuances. Clear, finely juicy fruit with some nutty and smoky wood notes, also liquorice on the palate, crumbly-sandy, slightly drying tannins, slight warmth, a hint of chocolate, vegetal and mushroomy tones, some acid bite, mineral hints, only loses a little of its contour on the finish. Still very drinkable, even if it is past its prime.
