Light nutty, spicy oak and some bacon on the nose, light dried herbaceous notes, red berries and cassis, earthy notes, dried mushrooms. Smoky, sooty oak on the palate, ripe dark fruit, nutty notes and some dark chocolate, hint of coffee, fine sandy tannins, slightly astringent, full body, noticeable warm alcohol, dark caramel in the background, peppery traces, slightly brittle on a very good finish.
