Fairly mature nose, light spicy notes andsome dried herbs, red and black berries, light dried vegetal aromas. Very tart restrained fruit on the palate, prominent smoky, lightly toasted oak, fairly persistent and quite full-bodied, bitter, astringent tannins, earthy and dried vegetal aromas in the background, light herbaceous and mineral notes, good to very good tart finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Fest gewirkter, würziger Duft nach kandierten und eingemachten roten Beeren mit Kandisnoten, etwas Holz, kandiert-nussigen Aromen, mineralischen Noten, aber auch deutlich vegetabilen bis krautigen Tönen. Sehr reife, wieder fest gewirkte, dabei saftige Frucht mit etwas rauchiger Holzwürze und präsenten, aber sehr feinen Tanninen, erdig, vegetabil und etwas mineralisch am Gaumen, zart tabakige und nussige Töne, gute Nachhaltigkeit, viel Kraft, Stoff und gewisse Tiefe, leicht kühl wirkend, wieder auch vegetabil, sehr guter, wenn auch unnötig holztrockener Abgang.
