2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Kreuzegg Weißburgunder trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, nutty, a touch yeasty and slightly vegetal pome fruit scent with smoky hints and a little mushroom in the background. Tart, tightly knit fruit with nutty and again slightly smoky tones, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, floral and mushroom nuances, some minerality, good substance and some depth, rather light mineral tones, moderate wood spice, very good, firm finish.
