2019 Silvaner trocken Maische, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite firm, somewhat warm, nutty, herbaceous-vegetable and also a little vegetable fragrance with rather restrained yellow fruity aromas, a trace of wax, smoke and implied yellow spice. Tart and powerful in the mouth, somewhat muted fruit with nutty, vegetal as well as delicately mushroomy and smoky flavours, a little butter in the background, moderate grip of ripe, friable tannin, not eternally deep, quiet style, goes a little wide, warm finish with peppery nuances.
