2018 Escherndorf Lump Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken "Himmelsleiter", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Strongly vegetal, still somewhat cabbage-reducing aroma with earthy and very restrained yellow fruity aromas and a hint of mustard seed. Warm, ripe, partly candied, sweetish fruit, a little yellow spice, again vegetable to slightly cabbage notes, suitable acidity, slightly drying tannin, certain persistence, quite clear minerality in the background, candy notes, has grip, some depth, only a little sweetish-floating contours, good to very good, alcohol-warm finish
