2006 Villány-Siklós Magnifico, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Tart black fruit on the nose, vegetal notes, sooty oak. Tart, dark, slightly jammy fruit on the palate, oaky with noticeable alcohol, sooty and roasted notes, fairly prominent fien and astringent tannins, dark chocolate, has some substance, but not a lot of real depth, alcoholic on the finish with more roasted oak.

Best to drink: 2009-2014+. What our ratings mean
