2021 Thüngersheim Johannisberg Silvaner VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken "Rothlauf", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty and a hint of smoky aroma with yellow fruity notes, some herbs and root vegetables. Quite juicy, rather tart fruit, nutty and dried-vegetable to herbaceous tones, a hint of tobacco, yeasty nuances, lively acidity and a little carbonic acid, persistent and grippy on the palate, earthy, chalky-mineral tones, again a hint of smoke, certain depth, still young, small black berries in the background, very good, firm, tart-juicy and quite mineral finish.
