The winery is located in the municipality of Frickenhausen (Maindreieck area) in the German wine region Franken. The business was established in 1976 through the marriage of two master winemakers, Reimund Stumpf and Carmen Bickel, who united their two wineries. Culinary experiences with special events are also organized.
The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyard area in the single locations Fischer (single location Germany) and Kapellenberg (Frickenhausen), as well as Johannisberg and Scharlachberg (single location Germany) (Thüngersheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner (30%), Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, Rieslaner, and Traminer, as well as the red wine varieties Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), Blauer Portugieser, Domina, and Cabernet Dorsa. The management is carried out according to the criteria of KIP.
The wine production takes place in the modern cellar building in Thüngersheim. The white wines are exclusively aged in Edelstahl, while the red wines are aged in Barrique. Vegan wines are also offered. There are three lines according to the VDP-Klassifikation. Crémant, noble Brand (Trester, Williams pear, plum) are also produced. The winery is a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates).
