2020 Thüngersheim VDP.Ortswein trocken Cuvée "Rot Hügel", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, quite polished aroma of black berries with herbal and delicately floral nuances as well as a little nutty and tobacco wood. Tart dark fruit with smoky and bitterly toasty wood, present tannin, some acid bite, noticeable alcohol, quite clearly salt in the background, herbal and tobacco nuances, good to very good, tart finish.
