2020 Grüner Veltliner trocken "Weites Land", Burgenland, Austria

Somewhat nutty, slightly herbal, dried vegetal and a hint of tobacco on the nose, pomaceous fruit with citrus traces and floral nuances. Ripe, quite spicy and somewhat melting fruit with smoky and nutty flavours, vegetal to herbaceous hints and moderate barrel spice, a hint of turmeric on the palate, persistent, certain graft, fine acidity and ripe, crumbly tannin, some nut butter in the background, hints of salt, good to very good, melting finish with smoke and salt. A lot of wine for the money.
