2018 Shiraz trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Relatively tart, high-alcohol aroma of black and a little red berries with eucalyptus, pepper, smoke, a little tobacco and cigar ash, juniper and earthy-vegetable nuances. slightly developed, predominantly dark, partly cooked and pickled fruit with bitter chocolate and smoky notes, coffee, pepper and juniper, nut liqueur and spirit on the palate, somewhat sandy tannins, some coffee bitterness in the background, eucalyptus spiciness, also mint, a hint of citrus zest, plenty of alcohol, not too deep, a little salt, good, only slightly bitter finish.
