2013 trocken Cuvée "Monachus", Burgenland, Austria

Slightly developed, smoky-roasted, slightly nutty and coffee-spicy fragrance of ripe red and black berries with cedar and tobacco notes. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with noticeable smoky and nutty wood, relatively fine tannin, somewhat dried vegetable and bacon tones, good persistence, has power, a hint of salt in the background, very good, firm, smoky and roasty finish with ripe fruit and spice. A lot of wine for the money
