Slightly smoky-roasty, warm and alcoholic aroma of partly dried and preserved mixed berries with a little liquorice, herbs and malt. Ripe, warm, again partly dried and preserved fruit, smoky-roasty wood, present, fine sandy tannins, some bite, malty tones in the background, a little bacony, salty notes, lots of alcohol, plummy hints, rather rustic character, ethereal nuances, good, alcoholic finish with dried fruit as well as cocoa and coffee notes.

Editor note: Rather tart, somewhat tobacco and noticeably woody aroma of ripe black and red berries with earthy to tarry nuances. Ripe, warm, tart fruit, nutty, tobacco and somewhat coffee-like wood, present, slightly sandy tannin, lots of power and alcohol, some persistence, a little drying on the palate, somewhat rustic style, dark spice, good to very good, again alcoholic finish.
