2022 Stetten Stein Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, yet slightly yeasty nose of ripe citrus fruits and bright stone fruits with fine herbal aromas, a hint of chanterelles, and very subtle floral nuances leaning slightly towards chamomile. Ripe, juicy, yet bone-dry fruit, distinctly nutty and lightly yeasty aromas, fine herbal notes, and also a bit of fresh-vegetative sharpness, the wine marbled with acidity, noticeable grip from ripe, mellow tannins, sustainable, concentrated, and deep, salty and somewhat chalky minerality, very good, firm, juicy, grippy, and ethereal-spicy and tobacco-like finish.
