2020 Stetten Stein Rieslaner Auslese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm aroma of partly candied pome and stone fruit, citrus peel and a little bergamot with herbal-vegetable nuances and a hint of black berries. Firmly woven, juicy, sweet fruit, present, fine acidity and some grip, fresh herbal to herbaceous notes, persistent, clearly mineral, still undeveloped, certain depth, quite distinct minerality, again citrus peel on the palate, very good, tight finish with sweetness but also fine aromatic bitterness.
