Cloudy amber and old gold. Firm, deep and complex, somewhat floral, spicy, nutty, dried herbal and hinted mushroomy aroma of ripe yellow fruit with light black berry, bacon and yeasty flavours. Firm, tart-juicy fruit with a slight acid bite, hints of caramel and coffee, plenty of yeasty-nutty spice, has plenty of grip of ripe tannin, dense and persistent, slightly peppery notes, chalky and salty minerality, good depth, very good, again somewhat muted, slightly warm finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
