2017 Silvaner Brut "Ludwig's", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Yeasty and clearly vegetal pome fruit scent with floral nuances and almost a little musky spiciness. Ripe, partly candied fruit with vegetal aromas slightly reminiscent of asparagus and hints of red berries, fine mousseux, good substance and persistence, moderate dosage sweetness in the background, hints of yellow spice, very good, juicy finish.
