2016 trocken "Gemischter Satz" Amphore, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly open nose, deep and complex, light nutty, spicy oak, delicate floral notes, delicate hint of bacon, citrus fruit, hint of labender and light herbaceous notes. Firm, polished, fairly tart fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, fairly prominent but also well integrated tannins, good persistence and substance, some depth, light and dark mineral notes, hint of yellow spice, still slightly yeasty, white pepper in the background, hint of white chocolate on a very good, long finish.
