Fairly firm nose, ripe black berries, some smoky, cedary and tobacco wood notes, leathery traces and a hint of dark ethereal spice. Ripe, again firm, quite juicy fruit with warm and cool elements, again a little cedary wood, also smoky, hints of roasted and tobacco flavours, some coffee and chocolate in the background, persistent on the palate, some depth, slight acid bite and relatively present, but ripe and rather fine tannins, a lot of power and noticeable, yet integrated alcohol, minty hints, slightly peppery and juniper-like, very good, rather warm finish with firm dark juice.
