2021 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch trocken "Satz", Burgenland, Austria

Fairly firm nose, predominantly black berries and some cherries, dried vegetal and tobacco notes, light smoky oak spice. Ripe, juicy fruit with a certain alcoholic warmth, but also an acidic bite, fine, ripe tannin, herbal, peppery and somewhat tobacco notes, good substance and persistence, does not seem heavy despite its alcoholic strength, a little salt in the background, very good finish, again with bite.
