2018 Reserve trocken "TRIO", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, slightly smoky nose, predominantly black berries with cherry notes and nutty, earthy, slightly peppery and dried vegetal nuances. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit with a little smoky wood spice, hints of cocoa and coffee, dried vegetal to herbaceous notes on the palate, some bite, fairly crumbly tannins, ashy and tobacco notes in the background, good persistence, good to very good, tart finish with a hint of pepper and juniper.
