2013 Müller-Thurgau Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly mature, delicately oxidative nose, nutty and dried floral notes, some iodine, dried yellow fruit, earthy notes, hint of mushrooms and tobacco. Fairly firm, sweet, partly dried fruit on the palate, prominent smoky and spicy notes, sugar candy, hint of bacon and nuts, lively acidity, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, some depth, full body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of peat and popcorn, sweet and spicy on a very good minerally, warm finish. In much better condition than the first sample.
