2017 VDP.Sekt.Prestige® Brut Nature "ultra", Rheingau, Germany

Tart, firm and quite deep, somewhat yeasty, nutty and quite clearly herbal nose with citrus and pome fruit aromas, a hint of tobacco and hints of dark berries. Tart, juicy, ripe fruit, yeasty and nutty flavours, herbs again, a little smoke and a hint of coffee, fine, slightly creamy mousse, persistent on the palate, certain depth, good substance, has grip and inner strength, very good, juicy finish with dark spice.
