2001 Hattenheim Schützenhaus Riesling Eiswein, Rheingau, Germany

Intense, racy aromas, citrus fruits, lychee, peaches and some blackcurrants. Enticing, absolutely pure fruit, racy acidity, honey and stone fruit preserves on the palate, delicate mineral notes, again blackcurrants, tremendously persistent on the palate, enthralling interplay of complex components, still very young, very long finish.
