1999 Riesling Singularis, Rheingau, Germany

Spicy oak nose, with candied citrus fruits, mixed pickles and minerals. Quite juicy, not quite dry fruit with harmonious spicy wood, mixed pickles again on the palate, with peppery spice, elegant acidity, powerful, good persistence on the palate, fruit and spice on the finish. Somewhat unusual, but good.
