Slightly cloudy straw yellow colour. Smoky, yeasty and clearly vegetal aroma with rather restrained yellow-fruity aromas, herbs, floral nuances, light barrel tones, hints of butter and a hint of tobacco. Tart, firm, cool fruit, clearly vegetal and yeasty flavours, fine acidity, smoky notes on the palate, some phenolic grip, good substance and persistence with moderate alcohol, light yellow spice, rather unusual tension for the vintage, certain depth, clear, light minerality, smoky and woody nuances, very good, firm, tart finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2031+. What our ratings mean
